Armenian Genocide
During the world war one, the Ottoman Turks had alienated the allies with their discriminatory policies, especially the Armenians. The Armenian were Christians and Turks were Muslims. In 1915, the ottoman government accused the Armenian for supporting the allies and used these allegations to start a genocide or atrocity (brutal campaign) by killing or exile all Armenian.
From 1915 to 1918, during the deportation, one million to 1.5 million Armenian were killed by massacres and starvation. Others continues to become as refugees in Syria’s deserts and other regions.
The allies denounced the Turkish killing of all Armenians is against humanity and it is crime. However, the Turkish government denies that what happened was a genocide.
